Pennsylvania lags behind many states in making the necessary legislative changes to the way children with dyslexia and reading disabilities are taught. Only a few Pennsylvania colleges and universities are accredited to teach instructional methods aligned with the Science of Reading and pediatricians and early childhood educators are not screening for dyslexia. According to the National Education Association Research 60% of children are NOT able to read at a 3rd-grade level. This is why we need YOU!
